Meet Us

The clubrooms are open every Tuesday evening almost every week of the year, and are the best way for you to come and get to know us, find out more about membership and upcoming trips, or even just chat to people. No need to be a member, just turn up and introduce yourself!

Structure

Presentations, if there is one, typically begin at 7 pm, followed by general announcements at 7:15 pm. After that is open time for leaders to run trip meetings, opportunities to hire gear, and plenty of time to chat to other members.

Around 8 pm, people generally start heading off to the Clyde for a parma and pot.

Which Tuesdays

The clubrooms are open almost every Tuesday of the year. Only if there is a special club event on somewhere else will people not be there. You should also check in advance the week of Christmas and at Easter, as sometimes everyone is off on an adventure.

Where

The clubrooms are located on the main (Parkville) campus of Melbourne University. The sports precinct is on the north side of campus, north of Tin Alley. Our clubrooms are on the northern end of this, just beyond the cricket oval.
