Membership
Becoming a Member
Membership to MUMC is open to everybody, students and non students alike. If you're interested in the club, but not sure if you wish to join, or if you have any questions, come along to one of our weekly tuesday meetings at the clubrooms. We'll be happy to show you around and answer your questions.
Benefits of Membership
Participation in trips, access to the clubrooms, discounts at outdoor gear stores, subscription to our magazine The Mountaineer, and access to an extensive collection of gear at cheap hire rates. Read on about membership benefits.
Membership Dues
The annual dues for the club are:
- $20/year for Melbourne University Students
- $92/year for Non Melbourne University Students
Membership is valid for one calendar year starting on the first day of March and ending on the last day of February immediately upon payment. Applications received after November 30th carry over to the following year, i.e. if you join in December 2020, your membership will be valid until February 2022.
