Eligibility for Membership

In general, membership is open to almost anyone, and many of our most active members are not even students. Even if you do not fall into one of the categories below, you may still qualify for membership. Fill out the membership application and bring it in if you are unsure.

Criteria

In order to be eligible for club membership, you have to be one (or more) of the following:

• a student at Melbourne University (includes deferred students)
• a graduate from anywhere (including overseas)
• a staff member of Melbourne University
• an employee of a University department
• bloodkin (married/sibling/parent/partner/children) to/of a current member of the Club

You may also join at the discretion of the Club if you somehow fit not into any of the above categories.

Becoming a member

Once you have filled out a membership application and paid your annual dues, your application will be reviewed by the committee. In most cases, you will be approved immediately, and can participate in a club trip on the same day.
