Trip meeting, tuesday before: 7:30 pm.

Difficulty: Begineer-Intermediate

Dates: Leaving friday night (8th). coming back on sunday night(10th).

This is actually a maintenance trip, but it will still be a lot of fun and you get to hike in to Mt Feathertop which is the 2nd highest peak in the state. For those who missed out on the last trip to the hut, you might be interested. We'll pick a route in based on interest, i'm thinking Bungalow spur at this stage, but I'll be flexible. The club generally subsidised car expenses so if you are willing to give a bit of your labour, you get a pretty cheap weekend out of it.

The main objective is to put a fresh coat of varnish on all the wooden surfaces inside the hut. They are in dire need and I want to get it done before winter. Depending on the number of people we can also try to finish the exterior paint job and perhaps fix a couple of odds and sodds.

This trip will only happen if the weather is fine. For anyone who signs up, I'll run an alternative trip in it's place if it get's cancelled.
