Advanced Abseiling Skills and Rope Rescue for Canyoners

Description

An evening theory session in the clubrooms to help you build up the skills required for canyoning.

You must have been abseiling before, but this theory session is still open to beginners. Attending the beginner's canyoning day trip on Sunday 11th April will be sufficient prior experience.

Attendance at this theory session is compulsory if you want to attend the ANZAC weekend combined canyoning/caving trip to Bungonia, and if you don't have prior experience backing up an abseil with prussicks or if you don't know any rope rescue.

Location: MUMC Clubrooms

There won't be a trip sheet for this theory/information session. Just come along to the clubrooms if you are interested.

There may also be a repeat theory session covering the above-mentioned skills in another couple of weeks if there is sufficient interest.
