Description

This is a trip being run by AlpineSAR and is open to all MUMC BSAR members. Trip departs 3pm Thursday and returns 9pm Sunday.

It will be held on the Bogong High plains around Spion Kopje, with the focus is on working as a small, lightweight team to complete exercises in: 1) Night Navigation; 2) Snow Survival Skills; and 3) Efficient and safe movement on steep terrain.

You need to be an experienced skier/snow shoer and self-sufficient in Australian alpine environments to go on this trip.
