Mt Hotham -Falls Creek traverse

Yep we're trying again! Those of you with a good memory will remember that we put this trip up last year but didn't get good enough weather (or snow). Second year lucky!!

The Plan:

Friday night: drive cars to Bright and stay in local backpacker-type accommodation.

Saturday: Catch the bus up Mt Hotham and ski 21km from Hotham Village to Cope Hut and camp

Sunday: Ski 14km from Cope Hut to Falls Creek via Wallaces and Langford Gap Huts. Catch the bus from Falls Creek back to Bright. Drive home.

You need to be a confident intermediate skiier capable of covering 21km on skis in a reasonable time frame. We'll review the weather forecast at the trip meeting because we will need to pay for bus transfers and accommodation in advance so there will be a point at which we need to commit to (& pay for) the trip.

Cost: Approx $180-$200pp including petrol, car maintenance, bus transfers, accommodation Friday night, and cafe/pizza dinner on Friday and Sunday nights
