Mitta Mitta Kayaking progression

A friend of mine with outdoor ed background has offered to take me on a trip on the Mitta on the weekend of the 15/16th October to improve my kayaking skills. Hooray! Say farewell to those bootie beers, right?

Advanced trip only at this stage! Probably one car / max 2 depending on skill levels. If people are independent on grade III+ and have a bomb proof roll that's awesome. If you are, like me, working on stepping up to become more confident on grade III, then at this stage I can probably only take two more people with me. The more leaders we will find the more dependent kayakers can come. Also, if you manage to convince some raft guides to come, then maybe we can make it a kayak and rafting trip. The Mitta is awesome fun in a raft!

The plan is to go up on Friday evening (if you pick me up in Bayswater at 5 we can leave earlier-ish) and come back Sunday evening late (prob midnight).

We will be taking people who are comfortable in class II and are working on their grade III. Probably only two more people similar to my level if we can't find further people that are confident to run grade III bomber (if you don't know what this is you know this isn't you) This is NOT a beginner trip!

Closer to the time we might be able to open this for rafting.

Also, if you have a car - yay because we still need one ;)
