Bourchiers Rd to Warrandyte Bridge 11km ... "An easy and enjoyable paddle" (WCC)
Compulsory trip meeting: Tues Dec 1 Cost: $10 gear hire /day + petrol
If not already at Bourchiers Rd, Kangaroo Ground (see 'Xmas Party' in Events) drive from clubrooms, ~40mins - car shuffle - paddle incl. stop for lunch on side of river - take out at Warrandyte Bridge - home
First timer friendly, we'll have a chance to work on a few skills. You must be a strong swimmer. You must not be under the influence of alcohol. Numbers are leader, boat and car dependant - hopefully anyone interested will at least get to paddle one of Saturday or Sunday
You will need: -packed lunch, snacks -water bottle -cap, sunscreen -thermals**, boardshorts & bathers (wetsuits, optional, can be hired from the club for $5) -river shoes** (small sneakers/wetsuit booties) -towel, dry set clothes
