Bush Search & Rescue is, in practice, a reserve force for the Victorian Police Search and Rescue Squad.  Read more about it here.
This is the annual training weekend, for members and prospective members. If you want to join BSAR, attending training is a good start. Talk to TJ if you're interested.
Many searchers join BSAR during their time in MUMC.  If you think you might be ready for it, then it's likely that you are.  Given BSAR's current gender ratio, there must be lots of women who are totally qualified to join but have never applied.
This year, training will be held in the snow, most likely at Mt Stirling.  More details to come, but there will be chances to ski.  If you don't ski, snow shoes are fine too.
