Intro Trip 2011

That’s right everyone, get excited! This year we are having a HUGE introductory trip down at Wilson's Prom. Also known as "Proms for the Preps", this is where a heap of old and new members alike can head to the beach for the weekend, see what the club is all about and have a party on Saturday night.

Come along and try some Rock Climbing, Bush Walking and Kayaking in the surf.

The trip is limited to 60 people, on a first in first served basis.

The cost of the weekend is $80 and that can be paid at the O-week sign up table or at a Tuesday meeting. Your spot on the trip is only confirmed once you have paid in full  and your name is on the trip sheet in the Intro Trip Folder. (Signing up online only does not mean you have a spot.)

The plan:

Tuesday 21 March: Meet at the Clubrooms at 7.15 to organise car groups and cover important aspects of the trip.

Friday 25 March: In car groups head down to Wilson’s Prom, approximately 3 hours south east of Melbourne. Enter the Campground and set up alongside club members who are already there.

Saturday 26 March: During the day have a go at kayaking, rock climbing and hiking or whatever else takes your fancy - animal watching, sun baking, swimming etc.

Sunday 27 March: While potentially nursing hangovers, have a go at any activities you missed out on doing on Saturday. Pack up and then head back to Melbourne in the afternoon.
