The plan is to hike to mount Feathertop Approx. 18 KM return during Easter weekend via the NorthWest Spur. It will be a good start for anyone preparing to join the Midnight Ascent for the first time.
We will drive on Friday morning 4 hrs toward Harrietville to start the hike near the Trout Farm - (after Smoko left from the Great Alpine rd) , summit Mount Feathertop (approx. 2 KM from MUMC hut) either the same day or on Saturday then drive back on Sunday to Melbourne.
