Want to escape some of the hot Melbourne weather? Need to satisfy your mountain view craving?
Planning to hike up the Bluff and along Bluff track, 14th-16th January. Connections to nearby peaks Mt Magdala and Mt Howitt then down to Howitt River, passing through dry forest and alpine meadows.
Expect 3 full days, covering 10-20km a day. Some steep sections so good fitness needed, but shouldn't be overly gruelling.
Overnight hiking experience advised; have a chat to me if you're unsure :)
