Remarkables Ice & Mixed Festival

The Remarkables Ice & Mixed Festival is a highlight of the mountaineering calendar. It's a casual meetup of alpinists, with volunteer run clinics for ice and mixed climbing, plus meeting new climbing partners who might give some mentorship and beta for some awesome winter routes. 

The Remarkables are just outside of Queenstown, NZ, and are one of the most easily accessible winter multipitch climbing areas in NZ. 

Attendance requires signing up to the Expedition Climbers Club in NZ to be able to sign up to the clinics. Unfortunately the Mixed & Ice clinic is already full but put in an EOI, a space might open up! Those interested in learning to do trad climbing in a cool location are in luck, but get in quick!
