Beginner Kayaking Leadership Practical Training

Hey everyone!

MUMC will be partnering with ROC to run a trip for anyone interested in becoming a kayaking leader/assistant leader. It will cover a range of skills to prepare someone for leading intro to kayaking or beginner flat-water trips including teaching paddling technique, assisted rescues, risk management, group management, gear familiarisation etc.

Prerequisites:

• Came to the theory night on Thursday or has completed equivalent training previously
• Has paddling experience and has made a commitment to leading future club trips
