Annual General Meeting
The AGM is where the club elects its new officers, and conducts other important business of the club. This meeting is held once a year at a date set by the Committee, usually in August.
Ordinary Business of the AGM
- Confirm the minutes of the last preceding Annual General Meeting and of any General Meeting held since that meeting
- Receive from the Committee reports upon the transactions of the Association during the last preceding financial year
- Elect officers of the Association and the ordinary members of the Committee
- Receive and consider the Treasurer's report on the financial status of the club
Proxy Vote
Any current member is eligible to vote in person or appoint a proxy to vote in their stead if they cannot attend the meeting. To appoint a proxy, notice has to be given to the secretary no later than 24 hours before the meeting.
