Annual General Meeting
The AGM is where the club elects its new officers, and conducts other important business of the club. This meeting is held once a year at a date set by the Committee, usually in August.
Ordinary Business of the AGM
- to confirm the minutes of the last preceding Annual General Meeting and of any General Meeting held since that meeting;
- to receive from the Committee reports upon the transactions of the Association during the last preceding financial year;
- to elect officers of the Association and the ordinary members of the Committee; and
- to receive and consider the Treasurer's report on the financial status of the club.
The 2011 Annual General Meeting
This year's annual general meeting will be held on Tuesday, 16 August 2011 in the Cricket Pavilion just next door to the Clubrooms on the Parkville Campus of Melbourne University. All members of the club are invited and encouraged to attend. A light dinner will be available (pies).

Special Business for the 2011 AGM
There is a Special Resolution before the club to amend our constitution. All members are encouraged to read the changes in advance of the meeting, and to attend the discussions of the proposed changes to learn more.
