New Committee Announcement and Open Positions

Hey OXOs! Big thanks to the outgoing committee for their had work over the last 12 months, and welcome to the new committee members. The incoming 2023-24 committee consists of:

• Treasurer: Chris Karelas
• Safety Officers: Luke Spencer & James Vinnicombe
• Bushwalking Officers: Molly Fleming & Bernhard Andersson
• Mountaineering Officer: Dáire Kelly
• Snowsports Officer: Tom Woodruff
• Conservation Officer: Mathilda Stewart
• General Members: Rhea Harris & Luke Parolin

There are a number of vacancies on the committee, so we are seeking to fill them at this first meeting.

The vacant voting positions are:

• Secretary
• Paddling Officer
• Publications Officer

We also have a number of subcommittees and deputy positions open!

Subcommittees:

• MUMC Mt Feathertop Memorial Hut Maintenance Subcommittee
• Training & Development Grant Subcommittee
• Adventure Grant Subcommittee
• 80th Anniversary Celebration Organisation Subcommittee

• Librarian

If you wish to nominate for any of these positions, please send your application including a short bio to (acting secretary) . It is recommended that you attend the meeting in person too. The committee will consider your application and vote at the meeting.

The deadline for nominations is at 11:59pm on Wednesday September 27 2023.

Voting members of the committee and deputies are encouraged to come along to all meetings to assist in the administration of the club. All other club members are welcome to attend too.
