Great Ocean Walk 2-day, overnight weekend hike [full]

We will be walking along the beautiful coastline from Blanket Bay in the Great Otway National Park to where the track meets the Great Ocean Road at Glenaire.

We will drive down on Friday evening (after 6pm) and camp Friday night at Forrest.

Saturday, early morning, we will drive to the start at Blanket Bay. A car-shuffle will leave a car at the end-point, Glenaire.

We will camp Saturday night at Aire River. (Saturday low tide: 3:48 pm)

We will require some cars and drivers for this trip. Please let us know if you are interested in coming and can drive 2 or 3 other members? Your car expenses for the trip will be covered, as per club policy, from the trip cost below. Thanks!

Costs [PLEASE READ]:

The cost of this trip is $68 each for car costs and camp-site fees. Its a long drive down to the coast! This does not include your own food or gear hire.

We are asking that you please pay this up front, at the Tuesday meeting, 2 weeks ahead, in full. We will then book the campsites. The amount will not be refunded if you pull out of the trip.

If anyone would like advice about how to prepare an overnight hiking pack, please feel free to ask us at one of the Tuesday meetings.
