Citizen Science in the East Gippsland Forest

Would anyone be interested in heading to the East Gippsland forest for the long weekend to participate in some citizen science? The weekend will involve learning about forest ecology and participating in wildlife/botanical surveys. This project is an effort to gather data in support for protecting the forest from logging. Unfortunately I didn't hear about this trip until after making plans, so I'm looking for someone to lead the trip. Once you arrive at the site there will be experienced non-mumc people there to guide you through the weekend, so anyone with basic camping skills could lead. Flick me an email if you're interested -
