Now is the planting season up in Benalla, planters will create an important biolink from the planting site to the Winton Wetlands which will greatly widen the gene pool of threatened species.

This is a weekend trip, set off from clubrooms at 6.45am on Saturday, arrive in Winton (near Benalla) at 9am, and reach back Melbourne before 6pm on Sunday.

Accomodation, 3-course community dinner on Sat and BBQ lunch on Sun will be provided. Bush dance on Sat night (I would not want to miss this!)

Fancy-dress theme: Eco-warrior – Save the Environment.

You may dress up as your favourite super hero with a noble agenda to save the environment. You see, MUMC tree-planters have a great cause, AND an awesome costume! So get creative, take out the sewing kit and start thinking of a fancy costume! (And of course, we'll take our awesome costumes to the bush dance on Saturday night too!)

The more people, the more fun to be had!
