Requirements: Enthusiasm and maybe a camera with a charged battery :)

Hi all,

In recent times there is a great amount of people in the club that are keen to document our activities and get creative behind the camera.

Do you have a camera and always wondered what those fancy numbers and symbols mean but ended up shooting on Auto anyhow?

In this first instance we would like to explain a little bit what aperture, ISO, shutter speed and the like do and what they do to each other and most importantly how you can use them for your photographs. We would like to show you simple rules of composition and how you can brake them.

We see how we go and what people are interested in.

Please bring your camera with you if you like (actually highly encouraged) and we can experiment around together!

We are planning to have a couple of those sessions in the future to share and progress our photography skills. Talking: effects of different focal lengths, post processing, different areas of photography, action shots, usage of flash, long exposures, what gear to bring on a trip, etc.

Anyone welcome!

For some reason the website shows 7pm as a start time but it will be probably 7.30pm.

If you fancy to bring a bite to eat to share that would be a bonus!

Cheers,

Anja, Ryan, Anthony, and Steve (and probably Aaron in spirit)
