Ready to get out of Melbourne and go walking after the first week of uni? Look no further than our Sunday day walk to Boar Gully! This is a beginner-to-intermediate level hike in the beautiful Brisbane ranges - South West of Melbourne.

We'll meet at the club rooms at 8.30 Sunday morning and drive approximately one hour to the start of the walk. The walk is a 14.3 km circuit and should take around 5 hours. We should be back by 5.30-6.30 in Melbourne. We may well see native fauna (eastern grey kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, koalas) and definitely will see a wide selection of native Victorian plants. The walk itself is relatively flat and easy-going. Should be fun!!

Everyone wanting to come will need to wear appropriate hiking shoes, bring a rain jacket and carry 2 L of water. Rain jackets and day packs can be hired from the gear store on Tuesday night if required.

Numbers will be dependent on cars available and interest, but I probably cap it about 20 people. Attendance at the Tuesday night meeting is a requirement - as well as signing up here on Team App.
