Wilsons Prom Southern Circuit.. and some.

This is an intermediate trip. You need to have been on 2 or more long distance, over night hikes carrying your own gear (>10kg).

Yay for the AFL grand final public holiday. While my beautiful Swans will likely be playing (someone better have telstra to give me a couple of updates) I have decided nature takes priority.

So far the plan is to leave Thursday night, drive down to the prom, do a car shuffle leaving one at Tidal and the others at Telegraph Saddle.

Thursday night = 10.2km/3hr or less (in the dark so HEADTORCHES PLZ) to Sealers Cove so we can wake up on the beach because thats rad. Might even see a bit of awesome wildlife at night so red lights on head torches are preferable if you have that.

Friday = Sealers Cove to Little Waterloo Bay 13.4km/4.5 hours approx.

Saturday = Little Waterloo Bay to Roaring Meg via Telegraph Junction. Safe estimate is 12+km. From Roaring Meg we can dump the packs and head down to South Point which is a two hour return trip but its the southern most point of the Aussie Mainland so thats cool.

Sunday = Up early! Roaring Meg via Oberon bay to Tidal River. Approx 18km/5 hours but its uphill so maybe a bit longer. Car shuffle and drive back to Melbourne for the next working week :(.

I will send out an email with the campsite details.

Trip meeting will be two weeks before, because this falls during STUVAC.
