Hi everyone,

I have wanted to explore Kosciuszko National Park for a while and cup weekend is the perfect occasion for it. For those who don't know, mount Kosciuszko is the highest mountain of Australia with stunning views pretty everywhere in the surroundings. The plan would be to leave early on Saturday morning 4am to get to beginning of the walk before midday. We will mainly follow the walk described there:

The walk can easily fit within two days and we have at least 3 that means we have some spare time to explore the range and do at least one side trip. At the moment I lean toward mount sentinel but haven't locked up my plan yet. We will most likely come back to Melbourne late in the evening on Tuesday.

This trip is for intermediate and advanced walkers who have done a couple of overnight hikes. if you have any doubts don't hesitate to send me an email:
