2 Days at the Prom!
THIS TRIP IS CURRENTLY FULL, BUT WE'RE LOOKING FOR ONE MORE PERSON WITH A CAR. IF YOU HAVE A CAR AND WOULD LIKE TO COME email me at :)

This will be a beginner friendly trip. The walk is along very clear, well maintained tracks which aren't too steep, so this is a great walk for anyone who hasn't done an overnight hike before.

We'll drive to the Waratah Beach on Friday night and stay in a free carpark/campsite. Dinner can be picked up on the way there. There's no real facilities at the campsite, but you can hear the beach from your tent.

On Saturday morning we'll drive to the Prom, sign in with the rangers and then park the cars at the Saddle. Depending on the group's preference, we can have pretty casual days, with lots of breaks and beach exploring, our push ourselves and complete the whole circuit. The casual option is to walk into Refuge Cove from Telegraph Saddle, via Sealers Cove, and then return the same way the following day. The harder option is to return to Telegraph Saddle via Little Oberon Bay.

Cost will be petrol (approx $20) plus campsite fee ($13.10).

Map can be found here - http://parkweb.vic.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0011/514928/Parknote-Wilsons-Promontory-NP-Overnight-Hikes.pdf

Campsites will need to be booked in advance, so please RSVP before September 27th, with the trip meeting on the Oct 4.
