The Great South West Walk is a 250km circuit that starts in Portland in the far west of Victoria. I've been wanting to checkout this walk for ages, and the long weekend is the perfect opportunity.

I'm thinking we'll select a section of the walk which goes along the Glenelg river for a few days, and then perhaps we can have a day of beach walking, or canoeing along the river depending on the group's preferences/weather. Ideally we'll have 2 cars to do a shuffle.

You should have experience with overnight hiking to come on this trip, as it is a longer hike, you'll need to feel comfortable carrying your gear for an extended period.

We'll need to book campsites for the walk, so please RSVP by October 18th.
