Making the most of the final month of daylight savings.
Beginner friendly kayaking on the Homestead-Wittons sections of the Yarra River near Warrandyte. Basic 'whitewater' up to class II.
We will plan ahead and have all the boats and gear ready to go after Tuesday's meeting. This will allow us to make a quick getaway on Thursday afternoon. (Leaving club by 5-5:30pm)
The run takes roughly 1 hour or longer if we want to play along the way, so we will be aiming to get off the water around 8pm, otherwise we will put the final strokes in in the twilight.
Trips will run depending if we have enough cars and leaders.
