Keen to learn about Koalas and contribute to protecting their habitat? The Koala Clancy foundation runs monthly habitat restoration days which are open to the public. These one day events give you a chance to learn from an experienced naturalist about the Koalas and also to protect their habitat by weeding or planting trees. The day involves a mix of watching and surveying the Koala population and physical conservation activities.

Where: You Yangs Ranges (approximately 1hr from Melbourne)

Who: This event is open to the public and is beginner friendly

Transport: If you can't arrange transport with a MUMC member, you can contact the organiser to ask whether a lift from the Geelong train station would be possible, or to see if you can car pool with other attendees.
