Lake Tali Karng Overnight

Tali Karng is one of Victoria's classic overnight bushwalks, and this is a chance for new members to meet the club.  More info here;

The plan is to walk in and out along the Wellington River, which the track crosses a dozen or so times.  This means that Saturday will be a long walk, maybe ten hours walking with some rock scrambling if you want to see the lake.  We will need to leave on time and travel efficiently on Friday night.  You will need to carry an overnight pack weighing 10-15kg so reasonable fitness/stamina and experience walking with a pack will be required. We can discuss this at the trip meeting if you are unsure.
