Hi all,
I am keen to go to Lower Templestowe tomorrow morning and do a basic stroke session. Forward stroke, sweep stroke, stroke timing using the gates. Stroke timing is particularly helpful once you go on moving water and you break in and out of eddies and need to place your downriver / upriver strokes effectively.
Maybe practise some rolling (bring goggles, noseplug, earplugs etc etc).
If you can swim, you are welcome. If you haven't been kayaking with the club before you will have to demonstrate a wet exit.
