Off-track walking in an alpine environment

I want to go off-track exploring. Haven't looked at any maps yet so not too sure where exactly we will be going, but hopefully we can find somewhere where it is recommended the scrub isn't too bad. Preferably we will get to an area that is not often seen by woman (or man), so thinking of heading directly away from huts or tracks. Open to suggestions.

The weekend can be changed if it needs to be based on interest. Weekend will be changed if it is forecast for very bad weather.

Only those who are experienced hikers and can confidently navigate and are completely and confidently able to look after themselves and their own whereabouts are welcome. This trip is not for people who require help with navigation or any other aspects of hiking or bush skills.
