Let's hike on the most southern point of Australia's mainland!

The plan is to drive to Wilson's Prom for a 3-day hike. We are leaving Melbourne Friday late afternoon and start our hike at Telegraph Saddle carpark. From there we plan to hike to Little Waterloo Bay and have a late dinner at the camp site. On Saturday we'll continue the walk on the Eastern coast, the most beautiful section of Wilson's Prom, to Sealers Cove. On this day there will be plenty of time to explore the area or go for a swim, as the average walking time should not be more than 5 hours. On Sunday we'll hike back to the Carpark for another 3 hours and make our way back to Melbourne, arriving in the city not too late.

This is a beginner-friendly trip and you can join even if you have never done a bike before - or if you are an experienced bushwalker and want to spend some time in the beautiful Prom!

The Prom offers a variety of terrain and amazing views. You will be walking through rainforest, white sand beaches and rocky coastal track.

Please come to the meeting on Tuesday, March 21, in order to finalise the planning. Costs will be 26$ for camping and approximately 20$ for fuel. For food we'll go grocery shopping on the way.

The size of the group is limited, but if you have a car you will have priority.

All gear can be rented from the clubrooms.
