NatureWatch as part of the National Parks Association are seeking volunteers for citizen science surveying grass trees in the Brisbane Ranges National Park.

Please contact the organisers if you are interested.

Hi Friends,

We're excited - we have just two Grass Tree monitoring activities left to complete 10 years of data collection!

In April, help us collect important data on Grass Tree health while spending time in the beautiful Brisbane Ranges National Park.

You'll learn new skills (or refresh existing ones), meet friends, and contribute to important long-term research.

When:
Sunday 9 April (next weekend), 10am - 1pm
Saturday 29 April, 10am - 2pm

Where:
Brisbane Ranges National Park, 80km W Melbourne

What:
Help assess the health of Grass Trees in response to the deadly dieback pathogen Phytophthora cinnamomi.

We’ll meet in Anakie at 10am and head into the park together. A fun way to see the 'Brissies' and learn about the disease.

Registration:
To book your spot, email Caitlin  (include your mobile number and which date/s you would like to attend), or phone 9341 6508.

More details will be emailed to you when you register. If you have never attended a NatureWatch activity, all training will be provided on the day.

I look forward to seeing you in nature!
