Thinking of exploring French Island after exams! Never been there before. Camping is free at Fairhaven campsite.
Ferry is $26 return however and reliability is dependent on weather, it also has a reputation of being unreliable so be available with your time in regards to going there (and more importantly coming back).
Public transport is available to the ferry point, but I will be leaving by car from MUMC and can take 3.
Numbers are approximate right now. Will be discussing the trip with others and also looking at what activities and tracks can be taken about the island and along the beaches!!
