Hotham to Falls Creek - Expression of interest

This trip is for expression of interest. Dates will need to be confirmed if this trip is going ahead. Very dependant with weather and snow conditions.

The plan would be camp Friday night at Mountain Creek. Be up early to get a helicopter from Falls Creek to Mt Hotham and then spend the rest of the day skiing to Cope Hut. Sunday ski back to Falls Creek.

There are some trickier sections of skiing so will need to be able to ski well with a pack. There is a 1000m decent into the East Kiewa Valley and then another 1000m ascent onto the Bogong High plans, depending upon snow Falls will depend how much hiking is required (pray for a storm the day before).
