                                                    --------------------------------------------

We have been asked by Parks Vic to do some track clearing on the Wilsons Prom. It is in a remote area and an important link in the North Prom circuit. We will after meeting Friday night and camping at Stockyard campsite (just inside the entrance gate and adjacent to it on the exit side), Head off early Saturday Morning to drive to the east side of the Peninsular where we will camp that night on the isolated beach and from where we will work on the track.

Usual overnight Camping gear is required and food etc. Warm and wet weather clothing, something to work in, work boots if you have and some gardening gloves to protect your hands from the Vegetation and tools (most of these tools will be provided by PV but if you have a pair of Long handed Loppers or a steel-headed rake these would be helpful to bring along, please let me know if you can when you reply to this).

These are enjoyable Events with wonderful views and experiences in isolated settings and while its primary objective is to clear the track of overgrowth, there is are elements of comradery, sharing and enjoyment, adventure and achievement in doing something worthwhile.

If you are willing to join and Help, please reply with your name and phone number and you will be added to the list and contacted with updated information.

The dates are: Friday night 15thSept, 16/17th Sept. We will leave in time to return our homes on Sunday pm.

Kindest Regards
