Come and hear about all the awesome stuff MUMC members got up to on the Marañón River in June/July, why we have fallen in love with the river, and continue the fight to protect it from dam construction. With over $7,500 raised so far and a lot of progress with the prospective conservation area, we look forward to taking you on the journey, sharing our stories with you, and providing some updates on how its progressing on the ground.
We will be presenting video snippets and photos from the trip, and sharing some coffee with you (!!) direct from a village near the conservation area. There will also be popcorn and you are welcome to bring your own other beverages.
