To further my rogaine training for the 24 hour rogaine, I would like to practise some navigation skills. I think there are some past rogaining maps in the clubrooms, for example the one that we organised earlier this year, we could use to practise following and doing some off track bush walking.
I'm hoping that some/an experienced navigator will be able to come show us the ropes in smaller groups. Or simply to check if we've actually reached the right checkpoint. The idea is to get into the bush and do some actual navigation practise. Get in touch and we can finalise details at the trip meeting!
