Thinking of trying out a route I haven't done up Mt Bogong, starting at Bogong village. Driving to Mt Beauty Friday night, hiking up Saturday, camping near the summit and down Sunday.
This is a longer ascent of Mt Bogong with some steep sections so this trip is for those with good fitness, overnight hiking experience and suitable equipment (e.g. proper boots).
