Before the Snowy river rafting/kayaking there is a possibility to catch the last of the seasons whitewater - the last melting snows are making the last bits of river runnable.

Making our way east with Monash, we will start with a low level run of the West Kiewa - paddle meltwater flowing off the cornice of Mt Feathertop.

Then we will head east, to the Upper Geehi, where the snow from the upper snowy mountains is still freezing overnight and melting during the day.

Last, on Tuesday we will drive up to Charlottes Pass and paddle the Snowy River above all the dams and evil machinations of humans.

Then we will meet the raters on the snowy.

There might be cars driving home earlier.

Rivers are easier grade 4.
