Located adjacent to Werribee Gorge, ‘The Island’ is a large property of over 200 hectares that was donated to Conservation Volunteers in 2006. The Island was significantly degraded and the Conservation Volunteers work to restore it to environmental health. The focus of this project will be track maintenance activities to widen a walking track between the bird hide and Myrniong Creek.
