Koala Clancy is a conservation organisation which takes volunteers into koala habitat to the west of Melbourne in the You Yangs hills. As a volunteer you’ll get to see koalas and also contribute to their protection. Activities include removing weeds, tree planting and conducting surveys alongside experienced Koala researchers.

The day long events take place on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month. This is a great way to spend some time in the Australian bush and to see some Koalas up close. They’ll also appreciate your hard work!

The organisation charges participates $20 (students)/$30 to participate and all funds go towards further koala protection. For an additional $5 transport can also be provided from Melbourne’s CBD to the conservation site (1 – 1.5hr) and back again.

If you’d like to participate grab your ticket here - https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/koala-conservation-day-tickets-13039095285?aff=es2 . You can select the transport option when you get your ticket. Or chat to others who are keen to see if anyone has a car.
