Ladies Night at MUMC

Dear all OXO-women; 

The Tuesday (after the regular meeting) before easter we will be hosting a ladies (only) night  at the clubrooms. This includes some snacks, drinks, ladies-talk and good company! 

The aim of this night is to gather some thoughts and opinions from the women of MUMC on why we ladies are underrepresented in adventure sports and what we can do about it.

We are hoping to learn and hear about experiences and thoughts that have been putting you and/or someone you know off from participating or advancing in a sport. This can be uncomfortable situations, something other people say/do or it can be personal concerns and reasons etc. By hearing the voices that don't speak the loudest on an every-day basis, hopefully we can find better ways to address and take action towards a club environment were we have a more equal representation of women and men also in challenging adventure sports! 

This will be a fun get-together for the MUMC women (old and new) and an opportunity for new members to meet some of the awesome ladies already around the club in addition to an encouraging environment to speak up and raise any concerns (or positive comments)!

I hope to see many of you there, the more voices that want to have a say, the better!

This is a ladies only event hosted to gather information encourage the women of MUMC to speak up to better address the issue of female under representation in MUMC's intermediate and advanced level activities. Guys; a similar night adressing the same topics will be hosted in the future, you will be welcome to that one.
