Yarra bend on the ANZAC day

This is an easy half day trip (beginner’s friendly). We will meet at Victoria Park Station (Abbotsford) lunch time around 12:00 PM @ Dr Mors Cafe in the front of Caltex.  

Transport:

Metro from the city take the Hurstbridge Line or South Morang Line and stop at Victoria Park.

Weather:

Can be rainy, cold or sunny (or all together). Bring umbrella & rain Jacket

Plan:

The walk starts from Johnson St.  Passing by Studely Park Boathouse and the flying -Fox lookout (where you can see thousands of Bats migrated from the Botanic garden) to Fairfield park Amphitheatre. Then we walk back through the main Yarra track to Dights falls and finally stop at Abbotsford convent for a delicious dinner at the Lentils as anything restaurant before we head back to Victoria Park station.
