Hey Team,

Q:Want to escape exam stress and get your hands dirty saving the world??
A: Of course!

Come join a bunch awesome, motivated people to work towards improving our local environment and the revegitation efforts right within Melbourne!
We will be undertaking tree planting and also potential for a beach clean up, starting at 8/8:30 and going until around 3pm on Saturday 16th.

More info:
Following World Environment Day (5 June) and in support of Sustainable Development Goal 14: Life below Water and Goal 15: Life on Land, the United Nations Vic Young Professionals are hosting a volunteering day to highlight the importance of protecting and conserving our natural heritage.

Working in partnership with the City of Port Phillip and Conservation Volunteers Australia, we invite you to join either of the following two activities:

  • Beach clean up at St Kilda Beach
  • Tree planting at Elwood Foreshore

By providing practical support to the City of Port Phillip under the guidance of Conservation Volunteers Australia, taking part in this volunteering day will enable you to contribute to their revegetation efforts to increase habitat biodiversity and help to keep one of Melbourne's most famous beach clean.

Light breakfast (optional from 7.30am) and lunch will be provided. $10 covers lunch and facilitators.

Please message me or sign-up if you're interested and i'll provide more information :)
Look forward to seeing you on Saturday for a great day of Volunteer fun!!
