Grampians peaks trail! Apparently one of "Walk Victoria's Icons long distance trails", and neither of us have done it. How embarrassing.

Depending on who is interested, we might try do this three day hike in two days, which just involves either a long day of walking or a car shuffle. Regardless, this should be a beginner friendly hike so everyone is welcome. If we do the two day option, the only additional recommendation would be to have a good level of fitness.

The current plan is to leave Friday night from Melbourne and head to Halls Gap, probably staying at plantation campground for the night. Day one of the hike is fairly short, so we're considering compressing the first two days into one, which would be around 22kms. The campgrounds on the trail need to be booked (approx. $15 per person), so we'd like to sort out numbers soonish.

If you're curious about the trail, check out this:

If you have any questions, come grab one of us on a Tuesday before then!
