Looking to run a trip out to the Baw Baw plateau and explore a portion of the Australian Alps walking track (AAWT). Plan to leave Melbourne for Baw Baw village Saturday morning, hiking towards Mushroom Rocks following the AAWT. Saturday night will be spent amongst the granite boulders or at a nearby campsite, and we'll return via the same way on Sunday to Baw Baw village, maybe stopping at the summit of Mt Baw Baw. The round hike is rough 30km.

The track is well signposted with board walks in a few sections, depending on water availability we may end up camping a few kms from mushroom rocks, but I'll confirm with Vic Parks beforehand.
