This will be a weekend trip to the High Plains, maybe around Mt Nelse, but it's open to suggestions. The aim is to get some mileage on moderate downhill runs, out in a wild location.
We'll drive out Friday night and return late on Sunday. You will need to be able to look after yourself in the snow, as we might camp a fair way from huts or shelter. Styling double black runs is not a requirement.
You can hire ski equipment from the club. As with all ski trips, expect to spend at least $100 on petrol and resort fees.
