The snow is still there, so it's time for one last ski trip.
We'll ski up Mt Stirling on Friday night, camp in the snow at King Spur Hut, and thrash whatever snow is left on the summit slopes on Saturday and Sunday. First time skiers welcome, provided you are willing to walk down on snow shoes if necessary. If you've never been camping before, the snow is not the place to start.
You will need your own warm clothing, but you can hire skiing and camping equipment from the club. As with all ski trips, expect to spend at least $100 on petrol and resort entry.
