Launch Party

WOOOHOOOO!!!!! We finished the website! As a thank you to everyone who helped out, we are planning a launch party.

Location: The clubrooms
Date/time: Friday 5th August…I’ll be there from 5.30 pm but I’m sure others will be there earlier.
To Bring: A plate of food, extra drinks

Who’s invited?

Anyone who has been to any of the past Websesh events (or the one that is to take place on the 2nd of August) is invited to attend. Also active members of the committee who already do so much for our club are welcome to join. I am also inviting Steve (who built our old website) and Riley (key contact for teamapp) to thank them for the work they have done for the club in the past.

Theme?

The theme to celebrate the launching of the website is a children’s birthday party (but with booze) …. yes, you read that correctly.  Get ready to relive your favourite childhood moments; paint your face, pass the parcel, pin the tail on the donkey and whatever else I manage to come up with.

p.s. I’m hoping the 100 x rolls of streamers I bought online will arrive in time for decorating.

Food

Potluck dinner. Please bring a plate of food to share (if you are too busy to prepare or buy something, bring $$ to pool with other lazy people and you can arrange to buy a few pizzas…preferably you will bring something with you). I’ve heard there may be a few sausages somewhere spare in the club so maybe we can raid these too.

Drinks (Provided)

The committee have agreed to provide us with some funding and I’m going to spend the entire amount on booze (and some non-alcoholic options). I expect there will be between 1 and 3 drinks per person depending on our numbers so you may wish to bring extras to continue the party.
